Real Madrid Held on by Lyon and Chelsea make a big leap forward

Real Madrid Held to a draw by Lyon

I don't know what is it that Lyon has got with Real Madrid in UEFA champions league. Looks like they have made it a mission to foil the party for Real Madrid. It happened last UEFA knock stages and now stands very balanced to happen again. Hopefully Jose does something this time and get Madrid out of Lyon curse.

Madrid was held for a 1-1 draw by Lyon at home. Positives for Real Madrid would be an all important away goal. Ronaldo and Ramos came close to scoring for Madrid right after the half time but were denied by the woodwork. Benzama came as an impact substitute and scored a goal in his first touch of the game. Madrid looked cruising along but a late equalized foiled the party. Lyon visit Madrid in the second leg.

I really hope Madrid make it through the knockout curse and hope fully we get to see "El Classico" all along in April. Enjoy the highlights.

Chelsea make a big leap forward

Chelsea kept alive its last hope for silverware with a big leap forward. Anelka brace helped them overcome the Danish side Copenhagen with 2 important away goals. Enjoy the highlights.
